Expanding Our Seniors' Network

Seniors, like others in the community, rely upon the County’s community centers for recreation, socializing and companionship. These centers are also used by our children. Steve views the community centers as vital to the surrounding neighborhoods. Steve has pledged his support to make modernizing and maintaining the community centers a priority.

Steve will also cultivate public/private partnerships for coordinated outreach to isolated seniors. Once identified, Steve will work to assure that these seniors become a part of the Network. Public/private partnerships can provide seniors with transportation to community centers, daily and special event programming, information about County special assistance programs, and more.
